Schagrin to helm critical care group
The $24M-revenue Society of Critical Care Medicine has named Megan Schagrin its next CEO. She will succeed David Martin, who is retiring March 25, 2026, after more than two decades leading the organization. Schagrin will begin her transition on Feb. 2 and assume full authority in March.
Schagrin most recently spent over a decade as CEO of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine and the SAEM Foundation. She previously held senior leadership roles at the American College of Chest Physicians, including senior vice president of business development, chief operating officer of CHEST Enterprises and executive director of the CHEST Foundation. Earlier in her career, she worked at the American Academy of Otolaryngology.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Chung to lead tolling and transportation group
Mark Chung has been named executive director and CEO of the $7.4M-revenue International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association, effective Dec. 10. Wanda Klayman had been serving as interim executive director and CEO since April 2025, following the departure of Kathryn Clay, who left the organization after four months at the helm.
“Mark is the right leader at the right moment for IBTTA,” said 2026 IBTTA President Joi Taylor Dean. “As we launch our five-year strategic plan to drive investment, impact and influence, Mark’s leadership will be instrumental in helping IBTTA tackle these challenges and move our global community forward.”
Chung joins IBTTA from the National Safety Council, where he most recently served as executive vice president of safety leadership and advocacy. He previously held senior leadership roles at SAE International, including chief marketing officer and general manager.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Klein named leader of chemical manufacturers group
Jenn Klein has been named CEO of the $5.7M-revenue Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates, effective Jan. 12. She will succeed Jennifer Abril, who departed SOCMA in August to become president and CEO of the American Cleaning Institute. Vera Stoeva has been serving as interim CEO since Abril’s departure.
“Jenn is the right leader for SOCMA at the right time,” said Mara Gliozzi, chair of the SOCMA board. “She is a visionary, collaborative leader with a deep understanding of our industry and a strong record of results.”
Klein joins SOCMA from the Ohio Chemistry Technology Council, where she has served as president since 2013. Earlier, she held government affairs roles at Chesapeake Energy and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Russell Sage College.

He previously held senior communications roles at the Consumer Data Industry Association, the American Council of Life Insurers and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

She was most recently senior vice president of global government affairs at Airlines for America and previously served as vice president of federal government affairs at Citi.
American Burn Association — Sarah Bingel-McKillips has been named senior director of education and learning strategies at $7.1M-revenue ABA, effective Dec. 8. She joins the organization from The France Foundation, a medical-education company that develops continuing-education programs for health care professionals. She previously held roles at the University of California, San Francisco, Cooper University Hospital and the Einstein Health Network.
Association for Consumer Debt Relief — Andrew Shaw has joined the group as head of research. Can Manufacturers Institute — Pearce Crosland has joined $8.3M-revenue CMI as senior director of government relations and regulatory affairs. He was most recently director of government affairs for the Plastics Industry Association and previously held federal affairs roles at the Building Owners and Managers Association International and the National Restaurant Association.
Consumer Bankers Association — Fred Davis has joined $20M-revenue CBA as vice president for legislative affairs. He was previously a vice president at Daly Consulting Group and earlier served as a senior legislative assistant and legislative assistant to Rep. William Timmons (R-S.C.).
International Dairy Foods Association — Chelsie Keys has joined $13M-revenue IDFA as senior vice president for government relations. She was most recently policy director for Senate Agriculture Committee Chair John Boozman (R-Ark.) and previously served as senior professional staff for the Senate Agriculture Committee and as director of government relations at the National Pork Producers Council.
Recycled Materials Association — Paul Hartgen has joined $23M-revenue ReMA as senior vice president of growth, strategy and operations. He was most recently executive director of the Innovation Research Interchange at the National Association of Manufacturers, where he previously held several senior roles including vice president of member programs. He also previously worked at the National Restaurant Association and served as president and CEO of the Restaurant Association of Maryland and the Nevada Restaurant Association.
Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America — Christy Moran has joined $1.4M-revenue WSWA as senior vice president of communications and marketing. She most recently was a partner at Raynor Ave., a strategic communications and public affairs firm. Earlier, she held corporate communications roles at AT&T and was a senior vice president at Forbes Tate Partners.
